Privacy Policy

1. Scope

LianShi is a food, drink, body weight, activity, and nutrition logging tool. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or treatment service.

2. Data we may process

Depending on the features you choose, we may process: a Sign in with Apple user ID and email; an app-generated device ID; health, fitness, food, nutrition, weight, goal, and other synced records; meal or nutrition-label photos linked to a signed-in recognition request; AI usage and product interactions; and App Store purchase history used to verify Pro access.

None of these data types is used to track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell them to data brokers.

3. Photo recognition

Recognition images are transmitted and processed in memory for the current request only. They are not written to server storage, image contents are not logged, and the original image is not retained after processing succeeds or fails.

Results are returned for your review and confirmation. Only confirmed structured records are stored locally and, if you sign in and enable sync, associated with your account. Original images are not used for advertising, marketing, or public model training.

4. Apple Health data

Apple Health access is optional and read-only. If enabled, LianShi reads authorized activity summaries for record reference and trends. Apple Health data is not used for advertising or unrelated profiling.

5. Service providers

We may use cloud server and database providers for account login, sync, and catalog APIs; recognition model providers for images or text you actively submit; and security or support providers for reliability and user requests.

Providers may process data only as needed for these functions. We do not sell food, body weight, activity, Apple Health, recognition, or purchase data and do not use it for ad targeting.

6. Retention and deletion

Guest data is mainly local. Synced records are retained while the account exists. In-app account deletion permanently removes the user, private sync content, devices, tokens, membership, quota, and user-linked transaction and usage records, and then clears local app data.

After deletion, we do not retain transaction or usage records that can be re-associated with you. We may retain only de-identified aggregate statistics that cannot be linked back to an account, except where a specific law requires limited retention.
